Treasures of Towneley exhibition now on

Treasures of Towneley is a special exhibition to celebrate and highlight the finest and most important objects and paintings at Towneley Hall Museum & Art Gallery.

The exhibition shows a collection of watercolours from the Hall which range in subject, artist, style and period.
The paintings include those by ground-breaking artists - JMW Turner - and lesser known ones such as Orlando Greenwood. Their paintings are artistically and culturally important as well as being a historical record.
The exhibition is on until 9th April
