Hop on a bus from Burnley to Towneley
Burnley Borough Council has formed a partnership agreement with Transdev Northern Blue and Towneley Garden Centre to provide an hourly bus service from Burnley bus station, 7 days a week, between Easter and September. This is great news for ‘Green’ travellers.

In January 2007 62 watercolours by the Burnley artist Noel H. Leaver were left to the Towneley Hall Society and they are on display at Towneley Hall until 24th May.
Burnley Council backs campaign to save historic artwork
Burnley Council is set to back a national campaign to save an historic piece of artwork connected to Towneley Hall and stop it from leaving the country. The council’s Executive is being recommended to approve moves to search for external funding to buy a white marble bust of Charles Towneley.
